Key Responsibilities:

Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and deliver well-structured lesson plans that align with the educational curriculum and cater to diverse student learning needs.

Classroom Management: Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and collaboration. Maintain discipline and manage student behaviour effectively.

Student Assessment: Evaluate and assess student performance through tests, assignments, and class participation. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.

Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum planning and refinement, ensuring alignment with academic goals and standards.

Support and Mentorship: Guide and mentor students to enhance their understanding of English language concepts and literary analysis.

Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to discuss student progress and address concerns.

Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in teaching methodologies, educational technology, and English literature to ensure high-quality instruction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or relevant teaching credentials.
• Proven experience in teaching English language and literature at the secondary (8th, 9th, 10th) level.
• Strong understanding of grammar, writing techniques, and literary analysis.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
