Responsibilities and Duties:

Coaching & Training

Lead, organize, and coach practices and games. Develop training sessions that focus on improving players’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills.

Provide specific feedback to players to enhance performance and build team dynamics.

Team Management 

Oversee and manage all aspects of the team, including game preparation, strategy, and team behaviour both on and off the field.

Cultivate a positive, respectful team culture that promotes cooperation, sportsmanship, and discipline.

Player Development

Mentor and support players in their athletic and personal development. Offer guidance on areas such as skill development, leadership, mental toughness, and physical conditioning.

Work with players on individual improvement plans to help them achieve their potential.

Game Strategy & Analysis

Develop game strategies based on the strengths and weaknesses of your team as well as opponents.

Analyze game footage to assess performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes.

Recruitment & Scouting

Assist in identifying, scouting, and recruiting talented athletes to join the team.

Maintain strong relationships with local schools, clubs, and other football organizations to ensure a pipeline of skilled players.

Communication & Collaboration

Maintain open and effective communication with athletes, parents, school administrators, and other coaches.

Collaborate with fellow coaching staff to ensure alignment in training methods and team goals.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure the team adheres to all league rules, regulations, and codes of conduct.

Prioritize player safety and health, ensuring proper training, injury prevention, and recovery methods are followed.

Administrative Duties

Assist with scheduling games, travel logistics, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Maintain accurate records of player progress, attendance, and any relevant reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education 

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).

Relevant coaching certifications and training (e.g., UEFA, AFC, or equivalent football coaching certification) are a plus.

Experience

Proven experience as a football coach, preferably coaching female athletes at the youth, high school, or collegiate level.

Strong background in football fundamentals, tactical strategies, and team management.

Skills

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while creating a positive and inclusive environment.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Knowledge of sports analytics and ability to review and apply game footage.

Physical Requirements

Ability to engage in physical activity during training sessions and games.

Capability to demonstrate drills, techniques, and strategic movements as needed.

Additional Information

Work Schedule: The role will require flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and travel for games and tournaments.
