Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge/IB curriculum.
  • Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, programming, digital citizenship, software applications, and emerging technologies.
  • Encourage the development of coding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.
  • Integrate ICT tools into interdisciplinary projects and support technology use across departments.
  • Assess student learning through regular formative and summative assessments.
  • Maintain a tech-enabled, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Stay current with technological advancements and apply innovative strategies in teaching.
  • Support students in ICT-related exhibitions, competitions, and school technology initiatives.
  • Provide technical support or guidance to staff and students when required.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and collaborative planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international curriculum (Cambridge/IB).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch, HTML), productivity tools, and learning management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for technology and innovation in education.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Occasional after-hours participation in school events, workshops, or parent interactions may be required.
  • On-campus role with minimal travel unless involved in external training or educational visits.
