Job Summary

We are hiring passionate and dedicated kindergarten teachers for our school located near Shalby Hospital. The Lighthouse Montessori School (TLMS) is an authentic kindergarten functioning completely under the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. We work towards making children independent since very young age of their life and grooming them in being a responsible citizen of the world.

We are seeking individuals who are committed to young creating a positive and engaging learning environment for our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for young children aged 3-5 years old.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons to enhance their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Prepare lesson plans and activities to introduce  new concepts to the children
  • Foster a love for learning through play-based approaches and hands-on activities.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each child and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child’s development.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to create a warm and inclusive classroom community.

Requirements:

  • Montessori Certified / Trained Teacher
  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Early Childhood Education/NTT/Montessori or a related field.
  • Experience working with young children in a pre-primary or early childhood setting.
  • Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching methods and approaches.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • Good at Art & Craft work
