Job Description

PGT History cum Social Studies Teacher (Female) is Required for our CBSE Affiliated Girls Boarding School in Kurukshetra, Haryana, India.

 

You must be

  • Be a female educator with at least 2 years experience of teaching her subject to relevant grades
  • Be proficient in experiential learning concepts & their execution and/or conducting lab experiments and/or integrating art with her subject where applicable
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a child’s development and growth
  • Exhibit a personality that demonstrate enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and community
  • Participate in curriculum and program development, and in the selection of material and equipment to support instruction
  • Assess and diagnose the learning, social and emotional needs and styles of the students and plan & adjust the learning experiences accordingly
  • Have creative and innovative tools, ideas and methods to enhance learning outcomes of the students
  • Be well versed with role and use of technology in teaching learning methodologies
  • Be willing to reside in campus and fulfil responsibilities related to holistic development of the resident girl-students.

 

Required Candidate profile

  • Relevant Masters Degree
  • B.Ed. or equivalent professional degree/diploma in education
  • Tech-savvy
  • Preferable to have residential/boarding school experience
