We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Physical Education (PE) Teacher with expertise in volleyball to join our school community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching volleyball to students, promoting physical fitness, developing athletic skills, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. As a PE Teacher, you will create and implement volleyball-specific lesson plans, provide individualized instruction, and inspire students to develop a love for physical activity and team sports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging volleyball lessons that align with the school’s physical education curriculum and standards.
• Teach volleyball fundamentals, including skills such as serving, passing, setting, spiking, and blocking, to students of varying skill levels.
• Develop and implement drills, exercises, and conditioning programs to improve students’ volleyball performance and fitness.
• Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline in all activities.
• Create a safe and positive environment that encourages active participation and personal growth.
• Assess students’ performance, track progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and supervise volleyball-related events, such as practices, intramural games, and tournaments.
• Ensure that students understand the rules of volleyball, both on and off the court, and practice fair play.
• Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe and in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other PE staff and school administration to promote physical fitness and wellness across the school community.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Maintain professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and other relevant educational activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (required).
• Coaching certification or specialization in volleyball (preferred).
• Proven experience in teaching volleyball at the middle or high school level (preferred).
• Strong understanding of volleyball techniques, rules, and strategies.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment for all students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
• Passion for physical fitness, wellness, and student development.
