About the Role

 

Sanskaar Academy is seeking a highly organized and proactive Admin Officer to oversee the non-academic operations of the school. You will be the backbone of the institution, ensuring that the infrastructure, safety protocols, and administrative workflows are efficient and support our mission of “Sanskaar ke sath Shiksha.”

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Management: Supervise the maintenance of school buildings, grounds, and classrooms. Ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
  • Transport Oversight: Manage the school’s fleet of buses, including route planning, driver/conductor discipline, and vehicle fitness compliance.
  • Liaisoning: Coordinate with government departments (Education Dept, CBSE, Local Authorities) for renewals, affiliations, and compliance.
  • Safety & Security: Overlook the security staff, CCTV monitoring, and fire safety protocols to ensure 100% student safety.
  • Inventory & Procurement: Manage the purchase of school supplies, furniture, and equipment while maintaining strict stock registers.
  • Staff Coordination: Supervise non-teaching staff (peons, sweepers, guards) and manage their attendance and performance.
  • Front Office Management: Ensure the reception and admission inquiry desk operates professionally and assists parents effectively.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Graduation in any stream (BBA/MBA in Operations or HR is a plus).
  • Experience: 3–5 years of administrative experience, preferably in a CBSE school or a corporate setup.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word).
  • Attributes: Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and communicate effectively in both Hindi and English.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with CBSE bylaws and local labor/safety laws is highly desirable.
