Job Title: Admission Manager

Department: Admissions, Marketing & Outreach

Reporting To: Management / Principal

 

Role Overview

The Admission Manager will lead and manage the complete admissions ecosystem of the school, ensuring consistent enrollment growth, superior parent experience, strategic outreach, and brand strengthening. This role requires strong leadership, data-driven planning, excellent communication, high accountability, relationship management skills, and the passion to achieve results through disciplined execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Admissions Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and implement annual admission plans aligned with school growth objectives.
  • Lead the admissions team, allocate responsibilities, and monitor performance.
  • Design strategies for inquiry generation, lead conversion, and admission retention.
  • Track admission trends, create actionable plans, and ensure target achievement.
  1. Parent Counseling & Conversion
  • Oversee counseling process for parents and students ensuring high quality experience.
  • Personally handle key and high-value parent interactions when required.
  • Ensure systematic follow-up process and high conversion ratios.
  • Conduct professional school presentations, campus tours, and orientation sessions.
  1. Outreach, Branding & Community Engagement
  • Plan and execute outreach initiatives, field activities, school tie-ups, events, exhibitions, and engagement drives to increase visibility.
  • Conduct and supervise home visits and relationship-building meetings with prospective and existing parents when required.
  • Strengthen community relationships, referrals, and word-of-mouth credibility.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Build long-term trust with parents through transparent communication and problem resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams for smooth onboarding.
  • Support parent satisfaction initiatives to enhance school reputation.
  1. Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain structured admission documentation, inquiry database, conversion reports, and analytics.
  • Prepare MIS reports and present enrollment updates to management.
  • Ensure professional handling of front desk, telephonic communication, and digital inquiries.

 

Professional Mindset & Work Attitude (Very Important)

  • Must demonstrate ownership, accountability, and passion for achieving admission goals.
  • Should be ready to go beyond fixed working hours whenever required; must have a result-driven “not a clock-watcher” approach.
  • Must be proactive, disciplined, energetic, and highly committed to institutional growth.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Graduate / Post Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 4–8 years’ experience in admissions / counseling / marketing / school administration.
  • Strong leadership qualities with team-handling experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Gujarati/Hindi proficiency preferred.
  • Strong convincing power, presentation skills, and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data reporting.
