Biology Teacher (TGT / PGT)

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate Biology Teacher (TGT/PGT) to teach Biology to students from Class 8th to 12th. The teacher should help students understand biological concepts through theory as well as practical learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Biology to classes 8th to 12th as per the prescribed curriculum.

• Preparing lesson plans and conducting theory classes and laboratory practicals.

• Explaining topics related to human anatomy, botany, zoology, ecology, and life sciences.

• Guiding students in science projects, experiments, and practical learning.

• Encouraging students to participate in science fairs, exhibitions, and academic competitions.

• Conducting tests, assignments, and evaluations to monitor student progress.

• Maintaining discipline and creating an engaging classroom learning environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biology / Life Sciences / Zoology / Botany.

• B.Ed. qualification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of biology concepts and laboratory practices.

• Basic knowledge of computer applications and digital teaching tools.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).

The school is managed by Jijamata Rural Development and Educational Trust, which operates CBSE and State Board schools, senior colleges, and pharmacy colleges across Jafrabad Taluka. The trust is committed to providing affordable and accessible quality education to students, especially in rural areas.

School Timings: Generally 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (subject to change as per school schedule).
