Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Economics Teacher to teach Grades 11 and 12. The candidate must have a strong command over Economics, both Micro and Macro, and the ability to engage senior students in conceptual, analytical, and application-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Economics curriculum for Grades 11 and 12, ensuring alignment with board guidelines (CBSE/IB/CAIE, depending on school curriculum).

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, integrating real-world examples and case studies.

• Use innovative teaching methodologies and digital tools to enhance classroom learning.

• Guide students in preparing for board exams, competitive exams, and higher education.

• Assess student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and stay informed of global economic trends.

• Mentor students for academic and career guidance in economics-related fields.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-disciplinary projects and initiatives.

• Contribute to school events, workshops, and parent-teacher interactions.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in Economics (Ph.D. preferred but not mandatory).

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching Economics at the senior secondary (Grade 11 & 12) level.

• Strong subject expertise in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economy, and Global Economic Issues.

• Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to inspire and motivate students to excel academically.

• Familiarity with modern teaching pedagogies and educational technology.
