Job Title: English Teachers (Classes 1–12) PRT / TGT / PGT

Academic Year: 2026–27

Location: Birla Open Minds International School, Warangal

Our English program focuses on building strong communication skills, critical thinking, creativity, and literary appreciation from foundational to senior secondary levels.

Position Overview

We invite applications from qualified, experienced, and passionate English Teachers for Primary, Middle, and Senior Secondary levels (Classes 1–12) for the academic year 2026–27. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering English Language and Literature as per the Birla Open Minds curriculum, aligned with CBSE–NCERT standards, while nurturing students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach English to students across Classes 1–12 (role assigned as PRT / TGT / PGT based on
  • qualification and experience).
  • Deliver the Birla Open Minds English curriculum, integrated with CBSE–NCERT learning outcomes.
  • Develop foundational literacy skills at the primary level through phonics, storytelling, reading, and
  • structured writing activities.
  • Implement activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven teaching methodologies as prescribed
  • by Birla Open Minds.
  • Teach grammar, comprehension, creative writing, communication skills, and literature at middle
  • school level.
  • Teach English Language and Literature (prose, poetry, drama, and supplementary readers) at
  • secondary and senior secondary levels.
  • Prepare students for CBSE internal assessments, periodic tests, and Board Examinations (Classes
  • 10 & 12).
  • Design lesson plans, worksheets, projects, and assessments aligned with Birla pedagogy and CBSE
  • competency-based education.
  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication.
  • Assess student progress, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary learning and curriculum planning.
  • Participate actively in school events, literary activities, assemblies, CBSE trainings, and professional
  • development programs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and overall development.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

B.A. / M.A. in English

B.Ed. – Mandatory (as per CBSE norms)

Experience & Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience for Primary | 3–6 years for TGT | 5–8 years for PGT (CBSE / Birla Open
  • Minds experience preferred)
  • Strong command of spoken and written EnglishFamiliarity with Birla Open Minds curriculum philosophy and teaching practices
  • Thorough understanding of CBSE–NCERT English syllabus and assessment patterns
  • Ability to deliver activity-based and learner-centric instruction
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills
  • Experience in Board exam preparation (Classes 10 & 12) preferred
  • Comfort with digital tools and blended learning environments
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to holistic child development

Salary: Negotiable (Based on qualifications, experience, level—PRT / TGT / PGT, and subject expertise)
