Position Overview

We invite applications from qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced French Teachers for the academic year 2026–27.

The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second / Third Language to students across Primary, Middle, and Secondary levels, in alignment with CBSE norms, NCERT guidelines, and international language learning standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach French language to students at the assigned grade levels (Primary / Middle / Secondary).

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

  • Align teaching methodologies with CBSE curriculum guidelines for foreign languages.

  • Use interactive and communicative teaching methods, including role-plays, projects, audio-visual aids, and language labs.

  • Promote cultural awareness of French-speaking countries through activities and discussions.

  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with school and CBSE expectations.

  • Conduct regular assessments to evaluate language proficiency and student progress.

  • Support students in preparing for school examinations, CBSE assessments, and language-based activities.

  • Encourage active participation and confidence in spoken French.

  • Maintain classroom discipline and create an inclusive, motivating learning environment.

  • Collaborate with other language teachers for integrated language learning initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and language development.

  • Participate actively in school events, language festivals, professional development programs, and co-curricular activities.


Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

  • B.A. / M.A. in French or a related language discipline

  • B.Ed. – Mandatory (as per CBSE norms)

  • International certifications such as DELF / DALF are an added advantage

Experience & Skills

  • 2–6 years of teaching experience in a CBSE / International school environment preferred

  • Strong command of spoken and written French

  • Familiarity with CBSE foreign language curriculum and assessment patterns

  • Ability to teach French using communicative and activity-based methodologies

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Passion for language teaching and cross-cultural education

  • Willingness to integrate technology and digital resources into language instruction
