Job Description
Job Role & Responsibilities of an Art PGT
- Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum covering history, techniques, and aesthetics (drawing, painting, sculpture, etc.).
- Teaching & Instruction: Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction in various artistic mediums; encourage self-expression.
- Student Development: Help students build portfolios, critique work, prepare for board exams/competitions, and track progress.
- Artistic Environment: Maintain an inspiring, safe, and organized studio/classroom, managing inventory and equipment.
- Exhibitions & Events: Organize art exhibitions, showcases, competitions, and field trips to museums.
- Collaboration: Work with other faculty to integrate art with other subjects and participate in school functions/meetings.
- Assessment: Evaluate student projects, assignments, and overall performance, maintaining detailed records.
