Fountainhead Global School is seeking a dedicated, creative, and organized Librarian to manage the school library and foster a love for reading among students. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books and capable of creating an engaging and interactive library environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize library resources (books, journals, and digital materials)
• Maintain proper cataloguing and record-keeping of books
• Issue and receive books for students and staff
• Guide students in selecting age-appropriate reading materials
• Promote reading habits through library activities and programs
• Conduct storytelling sessions and encourage students to participate in storytelling and reading activities
• Create an engaging and interactive library atmosphere
• Maintain discipline and a quiet study environment
• Keep track of new arrivals, inventory, and stock verification
• Support teachers with reference materials and academic resources

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / relevant field
• Diploma or Master’s in Library Science (preferred)
• Experience working as a librarian in a school (preferred)
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer knowledge for library management systems
