Position Overview

We invite applications from qualified, dedicated, and passionate Middle School Teachers for Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, and Hindi for the academic year 2026–27.

The selected candidates will be subject matter experts capable of delivering the Birla Open Minds curriculum effectively for Classes 6–8, fostering conceptual clarity, critical thinking, and real-world application of knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject (Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, or Hindi) to Middle School students (Grades 6–8).

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, experiential, and concept-driven lessons aligned with the Birla Open Minds curriculum.

• Use innovative teaching strategies, digital tools, projects, experiments, and hands-on activities to enhance learning outcomes.

• Promote critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, and independent learning.

• Design and conduct assessments, assignments, and evaluations to track student progress and learning outcomes.

• Provide academic guidance and differentiated support to address varied learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary and integrated learning experiences.

• Maintain effective classroom management and a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, exhibitions, professional development programs, and co-curricular activities.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance, progress, and development.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications

• B.A./B.Sc. in the relevant subject (Mathematics / Science / Social Science / English / Hindi)

• B.Ed. – Mandatory

• Master’s degree in the relevant subject is an added advantage

Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years of teaching experience at the Middle School level preferred

• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

• Excellent communication skills in English (and Hindi for Hindi faculty)

• Familiarity with activity-based, inquiry-driven, and learner-centered teaching methodologies

• Ability to integrate technology and real-life applications into teaching

• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Passion for teaching and commitment to students’ academic and holistic development
