The Role of a Mother Teacher

At Sanskaar Academy, we believe the transition from home to school should be seamless. We are looking for Mother Teachers who can provide the warmth of a mother and the guidance of a teacher. You will be the primary point of contact for a single group of children, teaching them multiple subjects while overseeing their social and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Subject Teaching: Handle English, Hindi, Math, and General Awareness through integrated themes.
• Child Centric Approach: Use the Play-Way method and Montessori techniques to teach foundational concepts.
• Emotional Care: Monitor the well-being, hygiene, and eating habits of students, ensuring they feel safe and loved.
• Classroom Aesthetics: Maintain a colorful, engaging, and “living” classroom with soft boards, charts, and learning corners.
• Communication: Act as the bridge between the school and parents; provide daily or weekly updates on the child’s milestones.
• Life Skills: Teach basic etiquettes, table manners, and “Sanskaar” (values) through stories and role-play.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Graduation in any stream.
• Professional: NTT (Nursery Teacher Training), Montessori Training, or D.El.Ed is highly preferred.
• Experience: 0–5 years. We highly value a natural “knack” for handling children over years of experience.
• Skills: Excellent rhymes/storytelling skills, basic art & craft ability, and a gentle, patient temperament.
• Language: Proficiency in Hindi is essential; basic English communication is a plus.
