Position: Pre-Primary In-Charge
Institution: Prof. Santosh Mittal School, Pachore
Role Summary
The Pre-Primary In-Charge will oversee and manage the academic, administrative, and developmental activities of the Pre-Primary section (Nursery, LKG, UKG). The role focuses on creating a nurturing, safe, and joyful learning environment while ensuring age-appropriate curriculum implementation and smooth coordination between teachers, parents, and school management.
Key Responsibilities
Academic & Curriculum Management
Plan, implement, and monitor the pre-primary curriculum as per school guidelines.
Ensure activity-based, play-way, and experiential learning methods are followed.
Guide teachers in lesson planning, worksheets, activities, and assessments.
Maintain age-appropriate learning standards and child-friendly teaching practices.
Teacher Supervision & Support
Supervise, mentor, and support pre-primary teachers and helpers.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Organize training sessions and meetings for skill enhancement of staff.
Ensure punctuality, discipline, and professional conduct among staff.
Student Care & Development
Monitor students’ academic progress, behavior, hygiene, and emotional well-being.
Promote holistic development including social, emotional, motor, and language skills.
Ensure child safety, cleanliness, and health standards in classrooms and play areas.
Parent Coordination
Act as a bridge between parents and school management.
Address parents’ concerns politely and professionally.
Organize parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and awareness programs.
Administration & Coordination
Maintain records related to attendance, assessments, activities, and reports.
Plan and coordinate celebrations, events, and co-curricular activities.
Support school events and follow CBSE/NEP early childhood guidelines.
Ensure proper use of teaching-learning materials and resources.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Early Childhood Education).
NTT / ECCE / Montessori / B.Ed. (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in Pre-Primary, with leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of early childhood development.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Warm, patient, and child-centric approach.
