Classes: Grades 1–5
Location: Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh
Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience and demo performance)

Oakland Schools is looking for passionate Primary School Teachers who can build strong foundational skills in students through concept-based teaching, activity-based learning, and strong communication development.

English Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach reading comprehension and language development
• Build strong phonics, vocabulary, and grammar foundations
• Develop writing skills and sentence construction
• Encourage storytelling, reading habits, and creative expression
• Conduct spoken English and communication activities

Focus

Develop strong language proficiency, reading habits, and communication confidence.

Mathematics Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach foundational mathematics concepts
• Develop number sense and logical thinking
• Use visual aids and activity-based learning to teach math
• Encourage problem-solving and reasoning skills
• Prepare students for math competitions or Olympiads (preferred)

Focus

Build conceptual clarity and strong problem-solving abilities.

Science Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach basic science concepts and environmental awareness
• Conduct hands-on activities and simple experiments
• Encourage curiosity and observation skills
• Introduce students to nature, plants, animals, and real-world science
• Organize small science projects and classroom demonstrations

Develop scientific curiosity and exploratory learning.

Social Studies Teacher (Grades 3–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach basic history, geography, and civics concepts
• Develop awareness about community, culture, and environment
• Conduct map work and activity-based projects
• Encourage understanding of society and civic values

Build awareness of society, culture, and responsible citizenship.

Telugu Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach Telugu reading and writing skills
• Develop grammar and sentence formation
• Encourage story reading and language expression
• Introduce students to Telugu literature and poems

Focus

Strengthen language fluency and comprehension.

Hindi Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach Hindi language fundamentals and grammar
• Develop reading, writing, and comprehension skills
• Teach rhymes, stories, and basic literature
• Encourage spoken Hindi communication

Focus

Develop language fluency and expressive ability.

Computer / IT Teacher (Grades 1–5)

Responsibilities

• Teach basic computer skills and digital literacy
• Introduce students to educational technology tools
• Train students in basic typing, presentations, and safe internet use
• Support teachers in using technology for classroom learning

Focus

Build digital awareness and foundational technology skills.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject
• B.Ed / D.Ed preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to teach through activity-based learning methods
• Minimum 1–2 years teaching experience preferred
