Job Summary

The Principal will serve as the academic and administrative head of the school, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student development. This role involves leading faculty, implementing CBSE guidelines, maintaining discipline, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Leadership
  • Oversee curriculum planning and implementation as per CBSE guidelines.
  • Ensure quality teaching, learning outcomes, and continuous assessment.
  • Introduce innovative teaching methodologies and technology integration.

 

Administration & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with CBSE rules, norms, and affiliations.
  • Manage school operations including admissions, examinations, and records.
  • Develop and implement school policies, safety measures, and SOPs.

 

Staff Management
  • Recruit, train, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, performance reviews, and professional development.
  • Build a positive work culture that encourages growth and accountability

 

Student Development & Discipline
  • Monitor student welfare, behavior, and academic progress.
  • Create opportunities for co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
  • Address parent/student concerns proactively.

 

Financial & Resource Management
  • Plan and manage the school budget effectively
  • Oversee maintenance of infrastructure, facilities, and learning resources
  • Ensure optimal use of school resources.\

 

Stakeholder Engagement\
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, management, and CBSE authorities.
  • Represent the school in external forums, workshops, and events.
  • Foster partnerships with the local community and education bodies.

 

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Masters Degree (preferably in Education / relevant subject) with B.Ed / M.Ed.
  • Minimum 8 years of teaching experience, with at least 5 years in leadership/administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, guidelines, and compliance procedures.
  • Proven track record in academic and administrative leadership.
