Position Overview

We invite applications from qualified and passionate Primary Teachers (PRT) for Mathematics, EVS,  English, and Hindi for the academic year 2026–27. The selected candidates will be subject matter experts capable of delivering the Birla Open Minds activity-based curriculum, working collaboratively with diverse teams, and creating engaging learning experiences for students in Classes 1–5.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach the assigned subject (Mathematics, EVS,  English, and Hindi) to primary classes (Grades 1–5).

• Plan and execute activity-based, experiential, and child-centered lessons aligned with the Birla curriculum.

• Use innovative teaching methods, teaching aids, projects, and hands-on activities to enhance learning outcomes.

• Encourage curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding.

• Assess and monitor student progress through classwork, assignments, and evaluations.

• Provide individualized academic support to meet diverse learning needs.

• Collaborate with colleagues for integrated and interdisciplinary learning experiences.

• Participate actively in school events, assemblies, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.

• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Educational Qualification:

  • B.A./B.Sc. in the relevant subject (Hindi / English / Mathematics / EVS-related disciplines)

  • B.Ed. – Mandatory

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage

• Experience:

  • 2–4 years of teaching experience at the primary school level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and Hindi for Hindi PRT).
  • Familiarity with activity-based and child-centered teaching methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to holistic child development.
