Job Title: Social Studies (SST) Teacher (TGT / PGT)

Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated Social Studies (SST) Teacher (TGT/PGT) to teach subjects such as History, Geography, Civics, and related social science topics to middle and senior secondary classes.
Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Social Studies as per the prescribed curriculum.

• Preparing lesson plans and delivering engaging classroom sessions.

• Helping students understand historical events, geographical concepts, and civic responsibilities.

• Conducting tests, assignments, and evaluations to monitor student progress.

• Encouraging critical thinking, discussions, and participation in classroom activities.

• Participating in school academic activities, meetings, and co-curricular programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science or related field.

• B.Ed. qualification preferred.

• Good communication and classroom management skills.

• Basic knowledge of computer applications and digital teaching tools.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on qualification and experience).

The school is managed by Jijamata Rural Development and Educational Trust, which operates CBSE and State Board schools, senior colleges, and pharmacy colleges across Jafrabad Taluka. The trust aims to provide affordable and accessible quality education to students, especially in rural areas.

School Timings: Generally 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM (subject to change as per school schedule).
