Job Summary

Vidyodaya International School is seeking an energetic and disciplined Sports Teacher to lead our Physical Education department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a robust sports culture, identifying athletic talent, and ensuring every student—from Primary to Senior Secondary—engages in daily physical activity. You will manage our expansive outdoor facilities and lead school teams in inter-school competitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Implementation: Design and execute a structured Physical Education (PE) curriculum for Grades 1–12 in accordance with CBSE standards.
• Sports Specialization: Coach students in major sports such as Football, Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, and Athletics.
• Yoga & Wellness: Conduct daily Yoga and drill sessions to improve students’ flexibility, focus, and mental health.
• Event Management: Lead the planning and execution of the Annual Sports Day, inter-house competitions, and CBSE Cluster tournaments.
• Discipline & Leadership: Inculcate sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership qualities in students through competitive play.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) from a recognized university.
• Certifications: Specialized coaching certificates in specific sports (NIS) or Yoga certification are highly desirable.
• Skills: * Strong command over English and Hindi to give clear instructions.
  • Ability to organize large-scale events and march-pasts.
  • Knowledge of first aid and sports injury management.
• Physical Fitness: Must lead by example with high personal fitness and an active lifestyle.
